Description
Issued on 26 May 2026 at 4:00 PM, cloudy skies with scattered rains or
thunderstorms may have caused possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate
to at times heavy rains caused by Southwesterly Windflow across Zamboanga
Peninsula, BARMM, SOCCKSARGEN, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental and
Palawan.
On the same day at around 4:30 PM, heavy rains brought by the Southwesterly
Windflow caused flash floods that affected several low-lying barangays in the
Municipality of Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat.
In response, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), through
its Field Office (FO) XII, continuously monitors and coordinates with the said affected
Local Government Unit (LGU) to assess the needs of the affected families and
individuals.
