Description
On 09 August 2023, continuous moderate to at times heavy rain showers due to Southwest Monsoon was experienced in the Province of Occidental Mindoro which caused flooding in the municipality of Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro.
- A total of 2 flooded areas in Sablayan (all subsided)
- A total of 73 families/267 persons were affected in 2 barangays and currently taking shelter in 2 evacuation centers
- Municipality of Sablayan experienced power interruption
- No casualty reported
