Description
the Effects of Shear Line in MIMAROPA
On 27 December 2021, a flooding incident transpired in the municipalities of Baco, Calapan City, and Naujan in Oriental Mindoro due to moderate to heavy rains caused by the effects of the Shear Line.
- 10,901 families / 54,405 persons were affected. Of which 666 families/ 3,230 persons stayed in 18 ECs while 192/960 persons stayed with their relatives or friends. Those who stayed inside and outside ECs already returned to their houses.
- 20 flooded areas are now subsided.
- 5 roads were reported passable as of 27 Dec 2021,11AM.
