Issued on 16 July 2026 at 4PM, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain
showers or thunderstorms may have brought flash floods or landslides during severe
thunderstorms in Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to localized
thunderstorms.
On the same day at around 4:15 PM, continuous moderate to heavy rainfall brought
about by localized thunderstorms caused flooding in several low-lying barangays in
Antipas, North Cotabato.
On 17 July 2026 at around 5AM, heavy rainfall in upstream municipalities and dam
water spilling from Bukidnon caused flooding in several barangays situated along the
riverbanks in Kabacan, North Cotabato.
In response, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), through
its Field Office (FO) XII, is closely coordinating with the affected Local Government
Units (LGUs) in North Cotabato and ensures the availability of relief assistance to
address the immediate needs of affected families and individuals for any relief
augmentation request.
