Description
In the early morning of 01 March 2024, a flooding incident transpired at Malita, Davao
Occidental due to moderate to heavy rains brought by easterlies/localized thunderstorms.
On 02 March 2024, aside from Barangay Poblacion of Malita, additional flooding
incidents were also reported in Barangay Basiawan and Barangay Poblacion of
Municipality of Sta Maria where families and individuals were evacuated to barangay
gyms.
