Description
Issued on 18 July 2026 at 4PM, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain
showers or thunderstorms may have brought flash floods or landslides during severe
thunderstorms in Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to localized
thunderstorms.
On the same day, at around 9PM, continuous heavy rainfall brought about by
localized thunderstorms caused rivers, streets, and drainage canals to overflow,
resulting in flooding in several barangays in Pantukan, Davao de Oro.
In response, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), through
its Field Office (FO) XI, in close coordination with the Local Government Unit (LGU)
of Pantukan, Davao de Oro, immediately provided relief assistance to address the
needs of the affected families and individuals.
