Affected Area/s
- Hagonoy
On 21 April 2026, Metro Manila and the rest of the country experienced partly cloudy
to occasionally cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the
easterlies. These conditions posed risks of flash floods and landslides, particularly
during severe thunderstorms.
On the same day, elevated sea levels during high tide, combined with localized
thunderstorms, caused flooding in low-lying and coastal areas across several
barangays in the municipality of Hagonoy, Bulacan.
In response, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), through
its Field Office (FO) III, is closely coordinating with the Local Government Unit (LGU)
of Hagonoy, Bulacan and ensures the availability of relief assistance to address the
immediate needs of affected families and individuals for any relief augmentation
request.
