Description

At 2:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 430 KM East of Hinatuan City (8.5 ⁰N, 130.5 ⁰E). The other Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 220 KM Northeast of Basco, Batanes (22.0 ⁰N, 123.5 ⁰E). The whole country will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rains over the Eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Twelve (12) incidents occurred (3 Maritime Incident, 5 Flooding incidents, 1 Flashflood, 2 Landslide and 1 Drowning). Casualties: 2 deaths, 10 missing and 5 rescued. Data source : NDRRMC UPDATE
