Description
On 5 June 2023, a flash flood incident occurred in the municipality of Asuncion, Davao del Norte while flooding was experienced in the municipality of Sto. Tomas in the same province on 7 June 2023 due to the effects of the localised thunderstorms.
A total of 2,561 families or 7,665 persons are affected in nine (9) barangays in the Davao Region. A total of Php 469,635 worth of assistance was provided by DSWD to the affected families.
