- On 23 March 2023, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) released a press statement indicating that recent observations from several DOST-PAGASA stations showed a gradual increase in daily temperature over many parts of the country and the strengthening of the North Pacific High. Furthermore, the number of dry and warm days across the country will continue to increase, though isolated thunderstorms are also likely to occur, especially in the afternoon or evening hours. On 13 April 2023, the effects of the dry season were reported in Brgy. Cabladan, Sibalom, Antique. Affected families who are farmers or farm workers experienced low farm crops production caused by poor vegetation that resulted in food shortage and low farm harvest and low income.
