Description
The NDRRMC reported two devastating earthquakes in Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat on 3 September (Magnitude: 5.4 RS) and in Maramag on 4 September 2012 (Magnitude: 5.6 RS). Based on the report of NDRRMC,the reported casualty was 1 injured. The affected population were 576 families or 2,304 people in Maramag and Valencia City. 90 families/164 people have been evacuated to 4 evacuation centres. The earthquake has damaged 2 roads, 54 houses damaged severely, 456 houses damaged partially and other public facility and building. The local disaster management agencies were handling the situation by assessing the damages, providing tents, transportation access clearing, etc.
