Description
On 12 April 2017 at 5:21 AM (UTC +8), earthquake with magnitude of 6.0 shook Wao District, Lanao del Sur Province. It was then followed with three hundreds of aftershocks. Based on the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) report, the earthquake has affected 414 families/1,938 people where 231 people were served inside evacuation centre.The incident has also damaged 308 houses and other public buildings. The local authority with the responding agencies deployed teams to conduct damage assessment. Food and relief supplies were also distributed to the victims.
