On 08 July 2024 heavy to intense rains caused by thunderstorms were experienced over
some areas in Cebu and Negros Oriental. The said weather condition caused flooding
incidents.
Per Weather Forecast issued by DOST PAGASA on 8 July 2024, at 4:00 AM, the
Easterlies are affecting the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas. This weather pattern
could potentially cause flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms in the
affected areas.
