The monsoon season has caused several flooding in Myanmar. In the northern Shan state (Lashio), the reported fatality was 2 death. The other areas that suffered by flood were Ayeyarwady (Irrawaddy region), Kayin and Mon state. According to the Ministry of Social, Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, the flood had forced 68,000 people to stay in 308 camps around the country. Thousand acres of farmland were also submerged.
