National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA) of Malaysia reported a storm in State of Kedah on 7 March 2018, 15.19 (UTC +8). The most affected area were several villages in Yan, where around thirty houses have been damaged. A total of 186 people have been affected due to the storm, however no fatalities and injuries reported. Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) was on the ground to assist the affected people.
