Tropical Depression 18 from South Cina Sea after affecting Southern Viet Nam continue to affect Southern Lao. The area affected by this incident include: Champasack, Saravanne, Sekong, Savannakhet and Attapeu. Based on the report from National Disaster Management Office of Lao PDR this incident has caused the following impact: - 33,009 families or 217,027 people affected - 4 death - 33,009 families or 217,027 people were affected - 1,472 houses were damaged - 83 roads and 35 bridges damaged - 24,096 ha of rice field damaged National and provincial government provided necessary emergency assistance.
