➢ Chronology:
Triggered by heavy rainfall in Wajo Regency and water runoff from neighbouring regencies due to intense rain since Thursday, 14 May 2026, the incident caused floodwaters to overflow into residential areas. Embankments also breached in Belawa Subdistrict and Limporilau Village, Belawa District.
