Floods in Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province
➢ Chronology: Triggered by moderate to heavy rain in the Sikka Regency area, especially in the Tanawawo District area on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 15.00 WITA, causing the Lowo Regi River to overflow which impacted road access connecting villages in Tanawawo District, especially those crossing the Lowo Regi River Crossway in Masebewa Village, which was cut off, impacting 10 villages with a total of 2,922 families / 12,981 people. So residents were forced to cross the strong flood currents on foot, thus posing a high risk to safety.
