Chronology: On Saturday, 30 May 2026, at 17:00 WITA, flooding occurred in Betalemba Village, South Poso Coastal Sub-district. The flooding was triggered by heavy rainfall, which caused the river to overflow and led to the collapse of the river embankment behind Elim Church in Betalemba Village.
