Chronology: On Saturday, 29 November 2025, at around 16:30 WITA, moderate to heavy rainfall occurred in Polewali Mandar Regency, resulting in flooding in two villages in Campalagian District—Kenje Village and Lapeo Village—with water levels reaching approximately 50 cm. In addition to the high rainfall intensity, the preliminary suspected cause of the flooding is a blocked drainage system.
