Floods in Kab. Musi Banyuasin, Prov. South Sumatra
Chronology: Due to rain from the upstream which occurred several days in a row on Wednesday, 19 May 2021 Pkl. 05:30 AM local time, causing the Sake river to overflow
Location: Kec. River Ds. Tebing Bulang Ds. Kertajaya
Fatalities :
• ± 234 households were affected
• ± 10 people were displaced
Material Disadvantages:
• ± 229 housing units submerged
• TMA reaches ± 15 - 70 cm
Effort :
• TRC BPBD Kab. Musi Banyuasin coordinates with local Village officials and members of Kodim 0401 Muba, to collect data and monitor water discharge
Latest condition:
• Flood height at the road access ± 15 cm from the lowest point
• The settlement of residents affected by the flood is ± 70 cm
