➢ Chronology: Due to high-intensity rainfall that occurred from Sunday, July 12, 2026, until the early hours of Monday, July 13, 2026, in the North Malinau District, the Semeladung River, Simendurut River, and Salap River overflowed, carrying materials such as wood, twigs, mud, and sand. This inundated several residential areas, schools, offices, places of worship, agricultural land, and public facilities in several villages in Malinau Regency, with water levels ranging from 30 cm to 300 cm. On Monday, July 13, 2026, at approximately 3:00 p.m. WITA, the water gradually receded.
