➢ Chronology: Triggered by heavy rain and strong winds that occurred on Tuesday afternoon (8/10) until night caused 3 rivers in Binjai City (Binjai, Mencirim and Bangkatan) to increase, and flooding also occurred in several areas. Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 20.30 WIB

➢ Efforts:
● Pusdalops continues to coordinate with the sub-district and district levels in updating data related to post-disaster.
● The Binjai City BPBD Task Force is still in the sub-districts affected by the flood and remains on standby at the flood disaster location to assist residents if needed in carrying out evacuation and is led directly by Mr. R.I Baroes as Head of Binjai BPBD.
● Coordinating with the TNI and POLRI for the safety and comfort of residents
● Coordinating with the Binjai Health Office for health services if residents need assistance and medicines.
● Pusdalops monitors weather forecasts and early warnings from the BMKG Web to convey to the community
● Head of BPBD Mr. R.I Baroes provides direct assistance to flood victims.
● The logistics sector of the Binjai City BPBD has set up a public kitchen for consumption by residents affected by the flood disaster
