Description
Widespread flood affected Kendari district, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Based on the local authority report, the flood has inundated 11 subdistricts and has affected hundreds of people. In Wanggu subdistrict, 91 families were affected with their homes being inundated. Moreover, 406 people were evacuated to evacuation centre. The local authority is still conducting the damage assessment while continues to distribute relief items to the affected families. The media estimated that more 1,000 people were displaced caused by the flood.
