Description
Flood hits another area of Indonesia, around 3 AM last Friday 27 July 2012 occurred in Sarmi, Papua. Due to heavy rainfall, Orey River was overflowing and inundated the vicinity area including residential area. 1 death and 250 households were evacuated. This flood also inundated 105 houses, 10 wooden bridge, and 1 central market. Local disaster management agency is managing this situation, while providing relief items as well as continuing the impact assessment. This heavy rainfall was caused by Tropical Depression from East of the Philippines.
