Description
Health Crisis Centre, Ministry of Health, and local disaster management agency (BPBD) of both West Aceh Regency and Southwest Aceh Regency reported floods on 3-4 October 2018. In West Aceh Regency, the flood started on 3 October due to the overflow of Dalam River, with the flood depth around 20-30 cm. A total of 1304 people in Johan Pahlawan District were affected. In Southwest Aceh Regency, the flood started from 4 October 2018 affected six districts, i.e. Blang Pidie, Manggeng, Kuala Batee, Babah Rot, Lembah Sabil, and Setia. A total of 1348 people / 337 families were affected. 13 There were no fatalities and casualties due to this event.
