Intense rainfall has caused flooding in Situbondo regency, East Java. BPBD Situbondo Regency reported that hundreds of houses have been inundated in three villages; namely Kumbangsari and Gadingan villages (Jangkar District) and Sumberwaru Village (Banyuputih District). 460 families have been affected by the flooding. In Kumbangsari, 425 houses were inundated; 15 houses in Gadingan and 20 houses in Banyuputih. In total 40 hectare of agricultural areas were also inundated. The flood water depth was measured arund 30 to 50 cm.
