Description
Flood that occur since 5 days ago in South Sumatera, still inundated four (4) subdistricts. The area affected in South Sumatera Provinces include: - Banyuasin district sub-districts: Banyuasin III, Pangkalan Balai, and Pulau Rimau 16 villages - Musi Banyuasin district sub-districts: Batanghari Leko, Lais, Sungai Keruh, Lawang Wetan, Tungkal Jaya, Sanga Desa, Babat Toman, Babat Supat, Sungai Lilin, Bayung Lencir 33 villages - Muara Enim district - Ogan Ilir district This event create impact as follow: - about 5,421 families or 18,434 people were affected - several hectares of agricultural fields inundated Indonesian Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) has deployed the emergency response team to work hand-in-hand with the local disaster management agency (BPBD). Other related local stakeholder also responded to this event. BNPB also disbursed cash assistance in the amount of 25,500 USD each to all four (4) BPBDs totalling about 102,000 USD. Relief items needed includes: Meal ready-to-eat, family kits, flashlight, radio communication tools, wooden boat for transportation.
