Description
Heavy rainfall on 17-18 February 2018 has caused flooding in Genuk and Gayamsari districts, Semarang City and Sayung District, Demak Regency, Central Java. Local Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Semarang city reported around 2000 families have been affected as their houses were inundated. In Demak regency, water level of around 30-80 cm has caused schools to cancelled their activities. Local BPBDs are still conducting assessment and provides necessary relief items.
