Description
Local Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Asahan Regency and Health Crisis Centre, Ministry of Health, reported floods in three villages in Buntu Pane District on 15 September 2018, 2330 hrs local time.
The flood was caused by the overflowing of Sei Silau Tua River. It was reported that the flood depth was around 50-140 cm.
A total of 205 families / 820 people were affected, with the following details:
1) 100 families / 300 people affected in Sei Silau Tua Village
2) 35 families / 140 people affected in Ambalutu Village
3) 70 families / 280 people affected in Karya Ambalutu Village.
BPBD Asahan Regency is still conducting assessment and had evacuated people in those villages.
