Drought Disaster in Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province
➢ Chronology: Friday, July 17, 2026, from 5:40 PM to 7:20 PM WITA, in Rasabou Village, Bolo District, Bima Regency, two trips (10,000 liters) of clean water were distributed to meet the needs of residents experiencing difficulty obtaining clean water due to a damaged water pump at SPB41, which had previously been their source of clean water. The aid was distributed to 196 families (592 people), consisting of 117 families in Kamasi Hamlet and 79 families in Nggaro Lembo Hamlet, Rasabou Village, Bolo District, Bima Regency.

● The Bima Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) is coordinating with the sub-district government, village government, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and related agencies, while conducting monitoring, data collection, rapid assessments, and emergency response in the affected areas.
● The Bima Regency BPBD urges the public to use water wisely and to remain alert to potential disasters, such as floods, flash floods, tornadoes, landslides, drought, forest and land fires, and rabies outbreaks. They should immediately report incidents to the BPBD, sub-district government, village government, or local TNI/Polri officers.
