On the night of May 05, 2021, at about 21:00, strong winds hit 7 cities / districts equal to 41 communes / sangkats and 111 villages, causing 18 houses to collapse, 258 houses to open, and 1 person injured One cow died, four school roofs were opened, one district education office was opened, one commune hall was opened, one police post was opened, seven trees fell and one electric pole collapsed.

In this incident, the Provincial Disaster Management Committee, authorities and forces at all levels intervened to help people in time by helping to dismantle and repair houses and send victims to hospitals. Authorities, in collaboration with provincial Red Cross branches, sub-branches, municipalities / districts, are preparing to distribute emergency aid to the families of the victims.
