Philippines' PAGASA sent a Storm Signal Warning #1 on 11 September 2017 due to Typhoon Doksuri (Maring) for provinces of Camarines Sure, Aurora, Metro Manila, Pangasinan and La Union as well as every provinces in Central Luzon.

On 12 September 2017, 05:00 local time, Tropical Storm (TS) Maring intensified and continued to move towards Quezon-Aurora area. It continue traveled to western part of Luzon until 13 September 2017, at 16:00 local time where TS Maring exited the Philippines Area of Responsibility.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported that 8 people have been killed due to TS Maring. It had also affected 40,996 people and destroyed 18,22 houses in Batangas, Cavite, Laguna and Quezon.
