Description
Based on Situation Report of Relief and Resettlement Department, Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, Republic of Myanmar:
A strong earthquake of magnitude 6.8 Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar about 45 miles north of Shwe Bo and about 82 miles north of Mandalay Seismological Observatory, was recorded at 07:42:37 local time (GMT +6:30 hours) on November 11, 2012.

1. Mandalay Region, Township of: Sin Ku, Thabaik Kyin, Madaya, Pyin Oo Lwin, Pyigyidagun, Amarapura, Patheingyi, Kyaukse, Sintgaing, Myiitha, Tada-U, Wundwin, Chanmyathazi, Mogok, Aungmyethazan, Chanayethazan and Mahaaungmye.
- Death toll = 10
- Injured = 82
2. Sagaing Region, Township of: Shwe Bo, Khin Oo, Kyauk Myaung, Kanbalu, Sagaing, Ye-U and Wetlet
- Death toll = 7
- Injured = 32

Emergency response is stil ongoing. AHA Centre visited Myanmar on 17 - 19 November and dispatched 250 tents.
