Viet Nam, Flooding caused by Tropical Depression Podul

Description

Based on the CCFSC, flooding occurred in several provinces due to the tropical depression Podul. The affected provinces were Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Kon Tum and Gia Lai.

IMPACT
- 41 death
- 74 injured
- 5 missing
- 423,573 houses were submerged
- 1,271 damaged houses
- over 1,000 ha of paddy field were damaged

RESPONSE
- The Government has evacuated 78,395 people and provided assistance.
