Description
As of October 5, the Philippines' DSWD reports that on 12 June 2020, the onset of Southwest Monsoon was declared by PAGASA. The Southwest Monsoon brought heavy rains causing damages and flooding in some areas in the country.

A total of 5,704 families or 28,321 persons were affected by the Southwest Monsoon in 305 barangays in Region.

A total of ₱1,530,000.00 worth of assistance was provided to the affected families/ persons by DSWD.

The Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center of DSWD-DRMB and is in close coordination with the concerned DSWD-Field Office I for significant updates and information.

DSWD-FO I provided 3,000 family food packs to the affected families · DSWD-FO I prepositioned FNIs amounting to ₱ 23,335,824.75 · DSWD-FO I is in close coordination with concerned LGU for any significant updates.

The Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center (DROMIC) of the DSWD-DRMB continues to closely coordinate with the concerned DSWD-Field Office I for any significant disaster response updates.
