Update from BNPB 25 Sep:
JAKARTA - Entering the fourth day after the flash flood disaster in Sukabumi Regency, West Java, the local Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) submitted the latest information on loss data, both casualties and material. Currently, the local government is still determining the emergency response status for banjir bandang disasters.
Data per Friday (25/9), at 06.34 WIB, the BPBD of Sukabumi Regency recorded material losses in the residential sector in a number of sub-districts in Sukabumi Regency in the form of lightly damaged houses (RR) 151 units, moderately damaged (RS) 49 and heavily damaged (RB) 82. Meanwhile, for public infrastructure, 1 unit RS bridge, RB 7 bridge and bridges are threatened 1. Other damage is in the form of clean water pipe RB 1, TPT 1 dam RB 1 and mosque RS 1.
Previously, the victims were informed that 3 residents were missing due to flash floods that occurred on Monday (21/9), at 17.00 WIB. After a day, the two missing residents were found dead by the joint team. One other victim who died was successfully evacuated.
BPBD Sukabumi District recorded 283 families or 924 people affected, while 210 people were displaced. As a result of the flood, 10 people were injured and have received treatment since the first day of the incident.
The following is the impact that occurred in each sub-district, Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province, including Cicurug District (5 Villages, 5 Villages) including Cisaat Village (Cipari Village), Pasawahan (Cibuntu), Cicurug (Aspol), Mekarsari (Kp. Nyangkowek) and Kp. Lio) and Bangbayang (Perum Setia Budi)
Parungkuda Subdistrict (2 Villages, 2 Villages), including Langensari Village (Bojong Astana Village) and Kompa (Bantar).
Cidahu sub-districts (4 villages, 4 villages), including Babakanpari Village (Kamping Bojong astana), Podokkaso Tengah (Bantar), Jayabakti (Cibojong) and Cidahu.
Flash floods in this area were triggered by high intensity rain on Monday (21/9) so that the water flow overflowed in the Citarik - Cipeuncit and Cibojong Rivers. Pascakejadian, the Regional Government of Sukabumi Regency established an emergency response status for 7 days starting from 21 to 27 September 2020.
Flash flood has occurred in Sukabumi Regency on Monday, 21 September 2020, at 17.00 WIB as a result of high intensity rain accompanied by the overflowing of the Citarik-Cipeuncit and Cibojong rivers
The location affected by this disaster is in Cibuntu Village, Pasawahan Village, Cicurug District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java.
Fatalities :

Material Disadvantages:
• 72 houses were heavily damaged
• 31 houses were moderately damaged
• 105 houses were lightly damaged)

• 1 bridge was potentially damaged
• 1 retaining wall is damaged
Until now, the local BPBD is still collecting data on the affected locations. Meanwhile, the BPBD Sukabumi Regency Rapid Response Team (TRC) was at the scene of the incident and coordinated with related agencies to carry out evacuations and data collection.
Search and rescue operations as well as the damage assessment are still underway. The Sukabumi Regency Government has established an emergency response status for 7 days, from 21 to 27 September.
For the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain is forecast over most parts of West Java Province.
