Floods have occurred on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 07:00 WIB in three 11 villages in two sub-districts, in Sarolangun Regency, Jambi Province. The high intensity of rain in the Sarolangun Regency caused the overflow of the Batang Merangin and Tembesi Rivers.

Areas affected by flooding include:
1. Bathing Sub-district
     a. Gurun Baru Village, 57 Houses Submerged
     b. Kerto Pati Village, 120 Houses Submerged
     c. Sungai Rotan, 20 Houses Submerged
     d. Mudo Desert Village, 10 Houses Submerged

     f. Tuo Desert Village, 33 Houses Submerged
     g. Mandiangin Village Market, 25 Houses Submerged
     h. Taman Dewa Village, 5 Houses Submerged
     i. Kute Jaya Village, 3 Houses Submerged
   2. Pauh Sub-district
        a. Pauh Village, 100 Houses Submerged
        b. Batu Kucing Village, 45 Submerged Houses

660 families are reported to be affected.
