National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB) reported the following updates on the situation.
1) Deaths: 21 people
2) Injured: 38 people
3) Damaged houses: 5 units
The fire was no longer exploded. The following up mitigation were:
1) Aceh government provided kitchen and eating utensils, blanket, kidswear, medicine, tarpaulins, mat, and clothes.
2) The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), police, the fast response team (TRC), and Local Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) that deployed 4 damkar units were maintained the incident situation.

National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB) of Indonesia reported that the newly drilled well exploded into flames early Wednesday, 25 April 2018, in Gampong Pasir Putih Village, Eastern Aceh district around 02.10 in local time. The people around the site were panicked since the fire was in residence area. National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB) reported that 18 people were dead and 41 people were injured. Five nearby houses were impacted. The head of the Aceh Disaster Mitigation Agency, Teuku Ahmad Dadek, said that more than 50 families were evacuated from the area.
The mitigation:
The fire department of East Aceh has anticipated the fire in order to not affect other buildings.
