Abstact :
The Rio+20 UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD), recently concluded in June 2012, mapped out the way forward for the next decades. A key driver among the six outcomes of the Conference is "green economy in the context of sustainable development and poverty eradication". Green economy supported by green technology is considered a tool for achieving sustainable development.
