Description
According to a preliminary report from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lai Chau province, rain, hail, and thunderstorms on April 1-2 caused damage to 662 houses (less than 30% damage); 52 hectares of rice, 13 hectares of corn, and 3 power poles were broken or collapsed.
Immediately after the natural disaster occurred, local authorities mobilized forces to assist people in overcoming the consequences and quickly stabilizing their lives.
