Description
- According to preliminary reports from Tuyen Quang and Cao Bang provinces, heavy rains from the night of June 28th to June 30th caused the following damage:
- Regarding houses: 1 house collapsed (Cao Bang); 6 houses damaged (Tuyen Quang 4, Cao Bang 2); 93 houses affected by landslides (Tuyen Quang 27, Cao Bang 66); 23 houses relocated due to landslide risk (Tuyen Quang 21, Cao Bang 2); 43 houses flooded from 0.3-1m (Tuyen Quang 1, Cao Bang 42).
- Regarding agriculture: 505.4 hectares of rice and other crops were damaged (Tuyen Quang 123.3 hectares; Cao Bang 382.1 hectares).
- Regarding livestock: 11 head of cattle (Tuyen Quang) and 577 head of poultry (393 in Tuyen Quang, 184 in Cao Bang) died or were swept away.
- Regarding transportation: 1 location on National Highway 4A (Cao Bang), 175 locations on National Highway 34 (Cao Bang), and 318 locations on provincial roads (71 in Tuyen Quang, 247 in Cao Bang) were flooded or affected by landslides.
Estimated damage: 32.4 billion VND (Tuyen Quang 15.5 billion VND; Cao Bang 16.9 billion VND).
