Cause: Heavy and prolonged rain due to the influence of storm circulation No. 4 (Noru)
Affected areas: Muong Xen town and Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province
Impacts:
- People: 1 person died (4-month-old baby, drowned due to rapidly rising flood water)
- Houses: 14 houses were swept away; 85 houses were flooded;
- Traffic: Affected some sections at Muong Xen road to Tay Son and Highway 7 in Ta Ca commune; damaged Hoa Son iron arch bridge, Ta Ca commune;
- Other damage: 2 cars were swept away; 10 cars buried by soil
