Description
According to a quick report from the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, Search and Rescue and Disaster Prevention of Nghe An province, heavy rain from July 2 to July 6 in 7 communes caused the following damage:
- Housing: 23 houses were affected and damaged due to rocks and soil flooding into the houses.
- Regarding traffic: 20 landslide locations with a total volume of about 7,460m3 . Currently, the landslide locations have basically been cleared for people to travel.
- Other damages: 02 electric poles had their legs eroded and had to be relocated; 600m of domestic water pipeline was swept away.
Immediately after the disaster, local authorities visited and encouraged the families of the deceased; mobilized local resources to support, overcome the consequences of the disaster, and stabilize people's lives
