According to the report of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control of Lang Son province, at about 4:00 a.m. on August 4, 2024, a serious landslide occurred at Km16 DT.234B in Sai Ho village, Tan Thanh commune, Cao Loc district, causing the following damage: 02 people died; 02 houses were damaged. Immediately after the disaster occurred, local authorities visited and encouraged the families of the victims, and supported people to overcome the consequences
Regarding the flooding situation , as of 7:00 a.m. this morning, in the city (mainly Chuong My and Quoc Oai districts), there were 783 flooded houses; of which, Chuong My district had 733 households with 4,990 people, Quoc Oai district had 50 households with 212 people.
