Viet Nam, Floods and Landslides in Ha Giang

According to a report from the Office of the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Control of Ha Giang province, from the night of September 28 to the morning of September 29, heavy rain, floods, and landslides occurred in Bac Quang district, causing the following damage:
- Regarding people: 05 people died, missing (due to landslides: 04 people, due to floods: 01 person), including:
+ Viet Vinh Commune: 01 person died, 02 people missing due to landslide on National Highway 2 and 01 person missing due to flood in Thuong My village.
+ Dong Tam Commune: 01 person died due to landslide.
- Home: 39 houses were affected and damaged.
- Regarding agriculture: 25.25 hectares of rice and crops were damaged.
- Regarding livestock: 11 cattle and 150 poultry; 4.2 hectares of fish ponds were damaged.
- Regarding irrigation: 63 m of canals were eroded and damaged.
- Regarding traffic: Landslides caused congestion on National Highway 2, Provincial Road 177 and some inter-village and inter-commune roads with a total volume of 26,270m3 .
Immediately after the disaster occurred, the locality mobilized local forces to search for missing people, support people to move to safety, and review and summarize the damage
