Description
In Trang Province, a storms accompanied by strong winds occurred on 24 February 2026 at 16:00 in Yan Ta Khao District, particularly in Khuan Pho Subdistrict (villages 2, 3, and 4).
Initial reports indicate that 32 houses were damaged, along with one school and one temple, while 10 electricity poles were affected. No injuries or fatalities were reported.
The provincial governor visited the affected area to provide support to the affected residents and instructed relevant agencies—including the provincial disaster prevention and mitigation office, district authorities, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteer groups, and foundation teams—to provide assistance and response operations.
