Thailand, Storms and WInds in Ratchaburi and Saraburi

A windstorm affected two provinces with impacts recorded in three districts, three subdistricts, and seven villages, resulting in damage to 52 houses.

In Ratchaburi Province, a windstorm occurred on 22 February 2026, affecting two districts, two subdistricts, and five villages: Tanowsri Subdistrict (Village 4) in Suan Phueng District, and Khao Khlung Subdistrict (Villages 9, 10, 14, and 15) in Ban Pong District. Initial reports indicate that 50 houses were damaged, along with one military checkpoint and one temple pavilion. No injuries or fatalities were reported. The Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, military units in the area, district authorities, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, and other relevant agencies have conducted damage assessments and provided initial assistance to affected residents.

In Saraburi Province, a windstorm also occurred on 22 February 2026 in Wang Muang Subdistrict (Villages 8 and 15), Wang Muang District. Initial reports indicate that two houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities reported. The Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, district authorities, police officers, local administrative organizations, volunteers, and relevant agencies have carried out damage assessments and provided initial assistance to the affected households.
