Thailand, Storms and Winds in Phrea and Krabi

On 27 April 2026, incidents were reported across 3 provinces (Chiang Rai, Phrae, and Krabi), affecting 6 districts, 19 sub-districts, and 32 villages. A total of 87 houses were damaged, as detailed below:

2) Phrae

On 27 April 2026, a windstorm affected 3 districts, 8 sub-districts, and 17 villages, namely Rong Kwang, Mueang Phrae, and Nong Muang Khai.



Initial reports indicate that 43 houses were damaged.

No injuries or fatalities were reported.

The Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, police, district authorities, local administrative organizations, volunteers, and relevant agencies have already provided initial assistance.



3) Krabi

On 27 April 2026, a windstorm occurred in 1 district, 1 sub-district, and 4 villages, namely Ao Luek.



Initial reports indicate that 24 houses were damaged.

No injuries or fatalities were reported.

The Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, police, district authorities, local administrative organizations, volunteers, and relevant agencies have already provided initial assistance.
