Description

Between 3–5 May 2026, storm incidents were reported in 8 provinces (Phichit, Phetchabun, Chaiyaphum, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Suphan Buri, Nakhon Pathom, and Saraburi), affecting 22 districts, 41 sub-districts, and 81 villages, as well as 1 district and 1 sub-district in Bangkok. A total of 401 houses were damaged, with 1 fatality reported in Chai Nat Province and 5 injuries reported in Nakhon Pathom Province.



Phichit Province

On 4 May 2026, storms affected Mueang and Wang Sai Phun districts, including San Khamo, Khlong Khachen, Nong Plong, Wang Sai Phun, Nong Phra, and Nong Pla Lai sub-districts. A total of 87 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities reported. Relevant authorities and volunteer groups provided initial assistance.

Phetchabun Province

On 4 May 2026, storms affected Chon Daen District, including Sala Loi and Tha Kham sub-districts. A total of 2 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities reported. Relevant agencies provided initial assistance.



Chaiyaphum Province

On 3 May 2026, storms affected Khon San, Chatturat, Ban Khwao, Ban Thaen, Nong Bua Rawe, and Phu Khiao districts. A total of 189 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities reported. Authorities and related agencies provided initial assistance.



Uthai Thani Province

On 4 May 2026, storms affected Nong Chang and Ban Rai districts, including Khao Bang Kraek, Ban Rai, Ban Mai Khlong Khian, Wang Hin, and Nong Chok sub-districts. A total of 74 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities reported. Relevant authorities and volunteers provided initial assistance.

Chai Nat Province

On 4 May 2026, storms affected Nong Mamong and Mueang districts, including Wang Takhian and Suea Hok sub-districts. One house was damaged and 1 fatality was reported after an electricity pole fell onto a motorcycle. No injuries were reported. Relevant authorities and the Provincial Electricity Authority provided initial assistance.

Suphan Buri Province

On 4 May 2026, storms affected Bang Pla Ma, Mueang, Si Prachan, Don Chedi, Nong Ya Sai, and Dan Chang districts. Damage assessments were ongoing, with no injuries or fatalities reported. Authorities and volunteer teams provided initial assistance.

Nakhon Pathom Province

On 4 May 2026, storms affected Bang Len and Sam Phran districts, including Bang Luang and Bang Krathuek sub-districts. Initial reports indicated that 21 electricity poles had collapsed onto vehicles and obstructed traffic. A total of 30 houses were damaged, with 5 injuries reported and no fatalities. Relevant authorities and the Provincial Electricity Authority provided initial assistance.

Saraburi Province

On 4 May 2026, storms affected Ban Mo District, including Ban Mo and Sang Sok sub-districts. A total of 3 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities reported. Relevant agencies provided initial assistance.

Bangkok Metropolitan Area

On 4 May 2026, storms affected Lalin Property Village on Pracha Phatthana Road, Thap Yao Sub-district, Lat Krabang District. A total of 15 houses were damaged, with no injuries or fatalities reported. Bangkok disaster prevention authorities, district offices, police officers, volunteers, and related agencies provided initial assistance.
